HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) contains the content of a webpage and tags to give structure to the content.
HTML tags are keywords (tag names) surrounded by angle brackets.
HTML tags often come in pairs surrounding page content. The first tag in a pair is the start tag, the second tag is the end tag. The end tag is like the start tag, but with a forward slash inserted before the tag name.
